Welcome Baskets for new residents
#1
Hi all,

Historic Roser Park is rethinking it's welcome basket for new residents moving into the neighborhood. Does your neighborhood association deliver a welcome basket? What's in your basket? Gifts? Coupons from merchants? Useful information from the City? Membership information?

How effective is the welcome basket in signing up new members? Suggestions? Does someone follow up to see if there is interest in joining the association?

Any thoughts on welcome baskets? Have a pic of yours?

Thanks so much,

Hello,
We do it in Historic Kenwood. There is a new person in HKNA doing ours and I can get you in contact with her if you would still like to know more. In the past, we put bylaws, newsletters, gifts and coupons from businesses, HKNA key rings, and even a small plant. No follow up. We think it's a nice gesture, but never followed up whether it lead to more new members.
